Here We Go!

So while my website is still a work in progress and will be for a while… it’s hard learning new things, while still having all the old things to do… I will just get started with some posts as I get it all together. Please bear with me and check back often to see what’s new. If you like, you can even help a girl feel good by subscribing to new updates!

Because I am a Bad Gramma, I do what I want. That includes how I plan to do things around here… this isn’t just a blog about my business. This place is all about women who are finding themselves, their voice, their purpose and shaking up the rules for ummmm “middle age’! (Who the hell ever thought we would be in the middle age category?) But we are all going through this together so you may see a post about my business, about menopause, about my thoughts on life, my sewing projects, some nutrition ( because I am a bit of a health nut) or maybe even a great cookie recipe!

I have a few things coming up in the near future, including an exciting visit from my Aunt in Ontario. I have not seen her in about 8 years, and I miss her dearly. Growing up, she was my cool Aunt. She was 16 years older than me, she didn’t have children, and her along with my hippie Uncle played in a band. How does it get cooler than that when you are about 10 years old? She will be here from August 15-26!

I have a bunch of new Bad Gramma fabrics ordered and they should be arriving soon. I am looking forward to adding in some new items as well as doing some custom work. You can always email me with your ideas if you want something custom done.

I have signed up for a Bra Making Class! It is one thing that as a seamstress I have never tackled.  Through Facebook, I have been introduced to an amazing group of women, and we are doing the class together and will be hosting a blog tour coming up in the fall. Watch for it! I will be documenting!  This is the Craftsy class link in case you are interested in checking it out.

Along with lots of camping and enjoying summer, I think that is it for now. If you are up for the ride, subscribe and follow along.

Have a great weekend everyone! See you next time.

  1. I’m looking forward to seeing the new fabrics !! Now that I’m working I’ll be able to afford more Bad Gramma gear !! Lol !!
I too have a favorite aunt, although she passed away almost 18 years ago. I still talk to her all the time and I know she is watching from above. She was my greatest ally when I became a single mother. I miss her like crazy.
